At the base of the cookware is an aluminium core covered with stainless steel on both sides, also called a sandwich base, where the outer layer is magnetic. The heat is distributed and maintained evenly and energy-efficiently over the base and sides, while the material itself is lightweight. It is also very hygienic and easy to clean. The cookware can be used on all heat sources – from traditional hobs, glass ceramic and induction hob to electric and gas cookers. The products are dishwasher-safe.
The pots in the Morsø series 79Nord are satin polished and have an internal measurement scale and a base thickness of 4.5 mm. The accompanying glass lid with steam vent is made of tempered glass. The saucepans are oven-proof up to 200 C.
The unique properties of the cookware are preserved for decades when properly maintained. Never use scouring powders and sharp objects that may damage the surface. We recommend cleaning with a brush and warm soapy water before first use. Cooking utensils In all materials can be used.
