The set includes four bowls in matching pairs. The small bowls in the North range are 11 cm in diameter and 5 cm high – the perfect size for snacks, dressings and olives. The round curve of the bowls echoes the recognisable shape of the ‘O’ in the name and the logo. The reactive glaze forms beautiful patterns reminiscent of structures in living nature. The glazing technique is based on traditional glassmaking, and in this process, unpredictable patterns and different shades on the surface are created.
The matte white base colour is combined here with the beautiful blue colour, River – here in the glossy version. Two of the four bowls have the blue glaze on the outside, while the other two have the glossy River on the inside. Blue is the colour of the sky and the sea, and a distinctive and eye-catching contemporary colour. Blue is many people’s favourite colour – it is classic and cool, and fits perfectly with Nordic interior design. River goes well with organic materials such as light wood, and can be combined with a very wide range of colours, from terracotta to light pastels to other strong colours. River can evoke many different moods, depending on what it is put together with.
