The ceramic CrushGrind mechanism is about four times harder than steel and is an extremely durable material. It is nearly impossible to wear out and will continue to grind at the same fine or coarse settings almost forever. There are no metal parts in the grinder that can rust.
The unique grinder mechanism makes it possible to grind salt, pepper, dried herbs and spices. The grinder can be easily adjusted to the desired coarse/fine setting and is easy to fill.
