Morsø 24 cm steel pan in the 79NORD series. The pan has an inner/outer satin finish and a base thickness of 6.1 mm. The handle is made of steel, and the full steel induction base allows the pan to be used on all heat sources including the oven up to 200 degrees.

At the base of the pan is an aluminium core covered with stainless steel on both sides, also called a sandwich base, where the outer layer is magnetic. The heat is distributed and maintained in an even and energy-efficient way across the base. The pan can be used on any heat source – from traditional cooktops, glass ceramic and induction cooktops to electric and gas cookers. Dishwasher-safe. The pan is also oven-safe.
The unique properties of the cookware can be preserved for decades with proper maintenance. We recommend cleaning with brush and warm soapy water before using the cookware for the first time. Kitchen utensils in all materials can be used.

Frying in a stainless steel pan
Frying in a stainless steel pan is different than with a pan with non-stick coating, which is why many professional chefs prefer to use stainless steel frying pans.
Add cooking fat/oil to the pan and warm the pan at medium heat. Distribute the fat/oil across the entire frying surface of the pan and on the sides.
Increase the temperature slightly, put the food in the pan and adjust the heat to the desired cooking temperature.
At the beginning of the cooking process it may look like the food is burning onto the pan, but as soon as a crust is created, the food can be moved around the pan and turned over.

Oven safe up to 200° C Food safe Dishwasher safe Suitable for induction cooker Suitable for gas cooker Suitable for ceramic cooker
