Eco Stripe Tea towel recycle

Price € 0,00

Eco Stripe tea towels are made from 100% recycled fibres of cotton, polyester, viscose and nylon.
Textiles made from recycled fibres help conserve resources. Regenerating the fibres saves water, energy and chemicals that would otherwise have been used in the production of new textiles.
There are two types of textile waste:
Pre-consumer waste is excess material collected from textile factories during the production of yarns and fabrics. This can be collected from cutting waste when the yarn fabric is cut into finished products, or it can be collected from waste during spinning and weaving. The majority of recycled cotton comes from this type of waste. The cotton, viscose and nylon in Eco Stripe tea towels come from this type of waste.
Post-consumer waste is waste from the products that consumers discard after use, such as old clothes and other textiles. This type of waste is more difficult to sort and recycle. The polyester in Eco Stripe comes from this type of waste.
