Oval flan ring in perforated stainless steel for creating delicious and modern pies and tarts. The small venting holes allow steam to escape from the dough during the baking process. The venting holes in the metal provide a crunchier crust and a perfect result every time. The venting holes offer an additional benefit in that they push the dough into the holes to keep it in place during the baking process.
For crispy bases, it’s a good idea to bake on a perforated baking sheet so that moisture can escape from the bottom just as it does from the sides. Oven-safe up to 230 degrees. Washing by hand is recommended.
