Morsø Foresta is a line of beautiful quality products for the kitchen. Foresta is for everyday chefs and cooking enthusiasts who appreciate superb products in excellent materials. The Foresta line gives you everything you need for conjuring up tasty dishes, made with love and passion.
Foresta is Italian for forest, and the line is inspired by its defining material, oak wood. Oak is a beautiful, highly resistant and durable wood that will last for many years if it is properly cared for. Regular maintenance with cooking oil will extend the life of an oak product. Over time, the wood will change to become even more beautiful.
The Foresta cutting boards are designed by Hans Sandgren Jakobsen, a trained cabinetmaker and industrial designer with a degree from the Danish Design School in Copenhagen. He spent a year working in a design studio in Japan, after which he returned home to Denmark and joined the studio of Danish designer Nanna Ditzel. He has designed a wide variety of stylish furniture and interior products in the Scandinavian style, and has received many prestigious awards over the years.
